Carol Fraser Hagen is a K-12 Reading Specialist, and a dyslexia therapist. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Reading and an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Before becoming a Reading Specialist Hagen was a middle school social studies teacher. History is her passion, so naturally she love reading biographies, history and historically fictional novel.
Hagen received the Shawnee Mission Education Foundation’s Grant for developing “Talking Books”, was a finalist in the 2008 Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators “Work in Progress Grant” for her research work. She is also a published children’s writer.
