1. Jennifer was determined to enjoy this vacation.
2. How could she possibly get any work done in a place as beautiful as this, Martha wondered as she decided to take a nap and pulled her sunhat down over her eyes.
3. Jade was all alone on the beach at last!
4. “I’m sick of winter,” declared Marcia. “I’m sick of snow and cold and shoveling the driveway and bundling up with coats, scarves, and gloves. Let’s get away from all this for a while.”
5. Samantha decided right then and there to buy a vacation home. Now, she just had to convince her husband, Nick.
6. “I know where we’ll go to celebrate our anniversary,” said Theresa.
7. Darren was sick of sunshine and 80+ degree temperatures in the middle of winter.
8. Ashley was lying on a beach towel, reading a book when he walked up and introduced himself.
9. “It’s my boss on the phone,” said Bradley. “He needs me back at the office.” Bradley’s wife, Maria, frowned and rubbed more suntan lotion on her arm.
10. “You’ll love deep sea fishing,” Clinton told his wife, Jasmine. But all Jasmine could imagine was puking over the side of some seedy boat. No way was she going deep sea fishing!
