5. Margot looked up and down the beach. She was the only person there. What harm would a little “natural” sunbathing do if no one would see see her?

6. Ellie was almost asleep when someone plopped down beside her in the sand and said, “Isn’t the water gorgeous today?”

7. It looked like a shark…stranded on the shore. Jeff moved closer to get a better look. The creature thrashed around. Jeff knew it would die soon if it weren’t put back in the water.

8. “Let’s go see the manatees,” said Jenny. “I know right where to look.”

9. He doesn’t seem to be a very good surfer, thought Carla as she watched the young man wipe out just as he got up on his board. Still, there was something about him that she found mesmerizing and she couldn’t turn away.

10. “Sorry, sir, this is a private beach,” Tiffany announced to the tan, muscular stranger who was sound asleep in the sand on a beach towel.”
