Author Sarah Hill Sarah Hill is actually a small animal Vet who started writing for children somewhat by accident! She gained her Veterinary Medicine degree at Bristol University, UK in 1999 and worked in practice for 10 years. At that point, she had her second daughter and soon after, she decided to take a career break.

During this interlude, the stories, plots and characters within ‘Whimsy Wood’ appeared in Sarah’s head all by their little selves! So she put pen to paper and found herself in complete heaven, whilst immersing herself in her own imagination! Like numerous authors, she started sending her manuscripts off to publishing houses and literary agents and to cut a very long story short, Abela Publishing said, ” Yes”!
